Our Team
Julia Harris
Our founder is a state licensed, nationally certified Speech Language Pathologist. She completed her Bachelor of Science at The University of Arizona and Master of Speech Language Pathology at St. Xavier University in Chicago, IL. She achieved her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and is an active member of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as well as the California Speech Hearing Association.
With over 9+ years of experience providing services to children ages 0 to 22, she has extensive knowledge of working in early intervention, public school systems and private settings: both in home and tele-therapy. She greatly values working collaboratively with families to support their child’s speech and language needs.

Navette
Silverado Speech Therapy Inc. is so excited provide the opportunity for a trained therapy dog to join speech sessions!
Navette is a 4 year old Labrador retriever. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) through American Kennel Club. She was bred and trained through Canine Companions for service work. Navette and our owner, Julia, have been a certified therapy dog team since 2023. Navette has completed over 100+ hours of therapy dog work in both school and hospital settings.

Silverado Speech Therapy Inc. is so excited provide the opportunity for a trained therapy dog to join speech sessions!
Lana is a 3 year old, Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever mix. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) through American Kennel Club. She was bred and trained through Canine Companions for service work. Lana and our founder, Julia, have been a certified therapy dog team since 2025. Lana has completed over 30 hours of therapy dog work, primarily working with children of all ability levels!

Our 'First Hello' is a relaxed, 15 minute check-in designed to see if your child’s communication is on track or if they could use a little extra wind in their sails. No clinical white coats, no pressure - just a friendly expert observing how your child interacts in the place they feel safest.

In-Home Assessment
We come to you! A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist will visit your home to conduct a comprehensive evaluation. Standardized tests can be scary in a cold office - but at your kitchen table, they’re just puzzles and games. We dive deep into how they express themselves in their natural element. You’ll walk away with a personalized plan that explains exactly what’s happening and how we’re going to support your child’s communication growth.
